Jerry Chastain obtained his degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University and obtained a second degree from Northeastern University. During his time at these educational institutions, Jerry Chastain developed his knowledge of Linux, Ethernet concepts, and anomaly detection. As Jerry Chastain obtained employment from Cisco Systems, Google, and Microsoft, he further developed his technical expertise. These companies allowed him to earn the ranks of Staff Software Engineer, Software Developer, and Current Product Engineer. Jerry Chastain is currently using his technical expertise in order to develop software for TestsForge. Monroe County Kitchen is a “community kitchen” that gives something back—its mission is eliminate hunger all over the county, serving Monroe and also in surrounding areas. They partner with other local charities and companies and provide education, advocacy and direct feeding projections. Even better, all the meals are nutritious and free of charge. More importantly, the outreach program is free and the organization handles referrals, daily operations and educational issues that the public need to be aware of, which directly affect the price of food and the hungry population. This site helps to explain the mission of the organization and directs attention to a number of divisions within, such as those who are unemployed, disabled, low-income, homeless, pregnant or nursing. Ever since 1983, the organization has been functioning and over the years many people and companies have helped the Community Kitchen of Monroe County to make great strides in helping the less fortunate.
